Looking to buy sports cards? Head over to eBay and you'll find multitudes of cards starting auctions at $0.99. While hot names like Trout and Ohtani will rack up high numbers, along with quality vintage cards like Mickey Mantle...there are ALOT of nice collectables that fly under the radar during these auctions that have 1000's of cards included in them.
The consigners make huge sums of money moving volume. Cards are scanned and the transactions are completed with logistical precision. Nice when buying, but not the most ideal when selling (unless you have a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie you're just looking to get in front of enough people). You'll always get a semi-reasonable price on a nice 86 MJ.
Where can I send my cards if I don't want to just get my $0.99 quick (minus the consignment fees of course)? Is anyone else frustrated with a lack of alternatives to the current auction mills? Let's discuss alternatives...
